Leading With Emotional Intelligence
If there’s one thing that the most effective leaders and high-performing professionals have in common, and that anyone moving in 2024 needs to prioritize on their professional development radar, it’s possessing high levels of EQ (emotional intelligence). According to the Word Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs 2023 report, qualities associated with emotional intelligence such as resilience, curiosity, lifelong learning, motivation, and self-awareness, are highly prized by businesses and will continue to be so for the next few years. Additionally, a survey by Gallup’s 2023 Global Emotions Report revealed that leaders with high emotional intelligence significantly impact employee engagement and organizational success. This emphasis on EI is also reflected in Deloitte’s findings that leaders with high emotional intelligence drive 20% higher employee satisfaction and 15% increased productivity
This two-day program will incorporate the use of Neuro Associative Conditioning and Neuro Linguistics Programming to develop the EI skills in self-leadership by engaging the other person’s subconscious part of the brain to have a change in mindset and behaviour. 2. State Management – the ability to manage our state, emotion and focus so that we are more effective in leading another and increasing our EI and Emotional Control
3. Outcome Thinking – the ability inculcates an outcome focused mindset
4. Help participants develop a deeper understanding of their own emotions and how they affect their thoughts and behaviour
5. Equip participants with strategies to manage their emotions, particularly in stressful situations, to maintain control and stay focused
6. Teach participants to recognize and understand the emotions of others, leading to more compassionate and effective interactions
7. Improve participants’ communication, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills
The program has been specifically designed to include emerging leaders, mid-level managers, and high-potential employees identified for leadership roles. Additionally, the program is beneficial for team leaders, project managers, and supervisors who play critical roles in influencing team dynamics and organizational culture
